There's really no point to run it through the ElGato HD60 Pro unless you are using the Elgato Game Capture software. If you are streaming I recommend using 720p60 and crank the bitrate to 6Mbps for Twitch in OBS/Shadow Play. If you have a decent CPU, OBS with Game Capture on the game you are playing with Intel QuickSync or CPU x264 works great for me. OBS and Shadow Play have screen/game recording built in and it's usually faster on the same PC to use those methods either with Intel QuickSync, NVEnc (although this may affect game play fps a bit) or Shadow Play which I recommend since it takes next to no hit in performance.
